I’M NOT A BAD GUY. I know how that sounds—defensive, unscrupulous—but it’s true. I’m like everybody else: weak, full of mistakes, but basically good.

Kofi Kingston wins fourth Intercontinental Championship on ‘WWE Main Event’

WWE.com:

WWE Main Event’s first title match turned the WWE Universe upside down as Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz to capture his fourth Intercontinental Championship. The heated battle provided Kingston with an opportunity to prove he is once again a serious singles competitor following his amicable split with tag team championship partner R-Truth.

Pronoun trouble. Both Miz and Kingston are newly single competitors coming off splits with tag team partner R-Truth. Funny, that.

Also: these results haven’t aired yet. WWE.com is essentially giving out spoilers for a show that hasn’t happened yet. It’s an approach I like, because it stresses the “how” and “how well” something will happen, as opposed to just suggesting that something might happen.

Also, also: Kofi Kingston has held the Intercontinental Championship the same amount of times as…well, a lot of guys, actually. In terms of days held against other champs, he’s a measly 24th, 5 spots behind Ken freakin’ Patera.

Also, also, also: beating The Miz on the “D” show doesn’t mean everything Miz said about Kingston on the “A” show isn’t true.
